Who are we?
“The
salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their

Stapleford
Baptist Church is a ‘family’ of
people who aim to follow God’s commands as reported in
the Bible.We’ve quickly found that we can’t do what
we want to do because we keep on going against the God we
love and have to ask Him to forgive us. And we’ve also
discovered that He’s ready to forgive us when we repent
and that He accepts us. This gives us a lot of joy, so we
spend time praising Him. We’ve discovered that there is
no one like Him and we want to tell other people about Him
too. So we’d really welcome you if you’d like to
join us because we want you to discover the God who found us
and has made us His own!

For those of you who like labels and jargon(!) we are an
independent evangelical church practising believer's baptism
who aspire to a warm experiential and lively faith grounded
in a conservative reformed understanding of scripture. If you
don't like labels or find this one incomprehensible, don't
panic, we won't mention it again .... we need to get on with
the wonderful good news that Jesus saves!
