Sunday

Our Sunday service is available on YouTube.

“…you yourselves like living stones are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

1 Peter 2 v 5

Sunday worship services are a vital part of the life of our church family. We come together, praise God, pray, read the Bible and are taught. Once a month, we share communion. We have musicians helping us to enjoy praising God, as we sing hymns and contemporary worship songs together.

As you enter the church building there are games, books, musical instruments for young people to use in to help them enjoy the service.  As part of the the service, we have an all-age interactive time, after which our young people can attend one of the groups we have available for them. Information on crèche (0-3 years), sbc kids (4-11 years) and sbc Youth can be found here

We also pray during our service. Prayers might be led by the worship leader or might be open to anyone who wishes to pray aloud. We pray for the missionaries we support, for each other and for the wider world.

We believe that God speaks to us through His Word, so the Bible has a central role in all our services. Through the preaching on Sundays, we listen to what God has to say to us. We have a heart to discover more about who Jesus is, and what it means to follow Him together and wherever we are day to day.

Whether you are visiting the Church for the first time, or you’ve been so many times that you’ve lost count, you are very welcome to join with us. We usually meet at 10:30am and then, at either 4:30pm (in Autumn and Winter) or at 6:00pm (Spring and Summer) in the main church building.

See the Church Calendar for times and places or contact the church office for more details.
